Paul Gibb and Nick Bowman travelled to Holland to visit Dr Ronald Van Heerwarden at his clinic in Mill (click here to visit the ViaSana website). Dr Van Heerwaarden is one of the worlds leading experts on knee osteotomy and performs several hundred knee osteotomies each year. He is the chair of the ESSKA expert committee on knee osteotomy and writes and lectures regularly on knee preservation surgery. He is the co-author of the leading knee osteotomy textbook and teaches on knee osteotomy courses internationally. He was extremely generous with his time at Mill demonstrating several complex osteotomies during a list run efficiently by his highly experienced theatre team.
