Management of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries

Paul Gibb contributed the section on the treatment of ACL Injuries in Juveniles. Unfortunately these injuries are becoming increasingly common in children and adolescents and their treatment presents unique problems. Modified surgical techniques are required because of the presence of growing bone close to knee and the relatively high rates of reinjury in this group of young active patients. The full guidelines can be viewed here.
