Nick Bowman spent two weeks working as a volunteer in Malawi, a small nation in Southeastern Africa, and one of the poorest countries in the world. He had previous experience as a volunteer surgeon in Malawi having worked in the government run Kamuzu Central Hospital in the capital city of Lilongwe several years ago.
